  8. JFIF/JPEG datatype which utilizes and requires the following:

  10.  - PPC accelerator card + 68040/060
  11.  - WarpUp Release 4 (powerpc.library V15) or higher
  12.  - picture.datatype v43 or higher
  13.    (i.e. either of the ones supplied with AmigaOS 3.5, P96 or CGraphX)
  14.  
  15. Note that a graphics card is not necessary - the P96 or OS 3.5
  16. picture.datatype will automatically dither images down to your display
  17. requirements.

  19. Changes since previous release:
  20.  
  21.  - Around 10% faster decoding of most images!
  22.  - Recompiled with VBCC 0.7d beta, which gives a slight performance increase
  23.    and smaller program binaries
  24.  - Tweaked compiler optimization options and increased disk i/o buffer for
  25.    enhanced performance
  26.  - Improved the datafile descriptor file recognition code - it's faster now,
  27.    and is able to detect more of the rarer types on JPEG file.
  28.  - Recomputed all benchmarks, to ensure correctness after a change in my
  29.    test environment (test files are now on a different HD, due to a
  30.    semi-fatal HD crash on the old partition)
